HELPING IN SCHOOL
We welcome parents and extended family members as helpers in school. Yes, that means you Grandparents - we need you too!!
We have a successful reading support programme with an army of helpers, and many other ways of helpings; either in the classroom or out and about on the school grounds.
If you have the time to help in anyway please do contact us at the main school office and we will begin the process of getting you involved. All regular helpers in school are subject to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, in instances where a check is not available then a risk assessment will be completed prior to allowing access into school.
How do I apply for a DBS check?
To apply for a basic DBS check you’ll need: all your addresses for the last 5 years and the dates you lived there. your National Insurance number. your passport. your driving licence.
You will need to contact the School Office to obtain the DBS Organisation Reference and Password to proceed with your application.
