Helping in School

We welcome parents and extended family members as helpers in school.  Yes that means you Grandparents - we need you too!!

We have a successful reading support programme with an army of helpers, and many other ways of helpings; either in the classroom or out and about on the school grounds.

If you have the time to help in anyway please do contact us at the main school office and we will begin the process of getting you involved.

As of 1st December 2012 the C.R.B is merging with the I.S.A to become the new Disclosure and Barring Service (D.B.S).  CRB check is renamed DBS check

All regular helpers in school are subject to DBS check, in instances where a check is not available then a risk assessment will be completed prior to allowing access into school.

If you wish to volunteer in school either regularly or occasionally please read through the Volunteering in School Booklet - click on the link on right hand side and it will open a pdf document.  Once you have read this and wish to proceed please complete contact the School Office for further information on how to apply for a DBS check.
